Formula 1 Crowds Cheer As Donald Trump Arrives, Chant ‘USA! USA!’

Former President Donald Trump received a warm welcome at this year’s Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix at the Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday.

During his day at the races on Sunday, the former president went on an angry, 31-post spree on his Truth Social app, despite the seemingly warm welcome he got from the crowds at the event.

Various videos posted on X showed the Republican nominee at various stages of his visit being greeted by crowds and a slew of media throughout the venue.  He could also be seen saluting fans as the National Anthem played just before the start of the race.

Trump’s deputy communications chief Margo Martin posted a video of the former president being welcomed with chants of “USA!” as he entered a pit lane, and other clips showed him shaking hands or participating in photo ops.

While surrounded by dozens of Secret Service, Trump dawned his famous “Make American Great Again” while watching the racetrack. He was also spotted speaking with the CEO of McLaren Zak Brown and the CEO of F1 Stefano Domenicali.

Trump was not the only celebrity attending the event as Amazon founder Jeff Bezos along with Tesla CEO Elon Musk and NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes were also seen watching the race

The management of Formula One did not disclose prior to the race that Trump and other celebrities would be attending due to security concerns.

Trump posted to his Truth Social page following the event  that “it was a great honor to see my friends at McLaren win the big Miami Formula 1 race. It was the car I visited before the race, and Endorsed—that’s what we need for our Country—WINNING!”
