Colombian President Seems to Wet Himself During Campaign Speech
While delivering a recent campaign speech, Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos appeared to wet his beige trousers, seemingly without noticing at all.
The president is up for re-election this year, and had been giving remarks before an audience in the coastal city of Barranquilla. At some point during the speech, video shows a wet patch appearing on the crotch of Santos’ trousers.
As his speech continues, the dark wet spot grows in size. All without a single acknowledgement from the Colombian leader.
The 62-year-old has no known illnesses (UPDATE: Santos had a prostate tumor removed two years ago. Incontinence is a common effect of such a procedure, and likely explains this video.)
He has served as Colombia’s president since 2010 and has been known as a peacemaker for his efforts in resolving crises with neighboring Venezuela as well as Colombian guerrilla group FARC.
