Dem Guest to Megyn Kelly: WH Has Huge ‘Credibility Problem’ on Obamacare, Can’t ‘Spin Their Way Out’

The White Hous is losing ground fast on Obamacare, and plenty of Democrats agree that the entire health care rollout has been a catastrophe. Even Democrat Joe Trippi told Megyn Kelly on Monday night that the White House is suffering from a significant “credibility problem” as a result of the botched rollout.

Trippi said it was a “huge mistake” for the president to promise unconditionally that people could keep their health care plans, especially with the new qualifier Obama trotted out on Monday. Kelly noted how the White House had an “internal discussion” about this years ago and “political aides said keep your mouth shut.”

He agreed it was a great “disservice” to the country and the only thing that could rectify it at this point would be complete transparency on their part. Trippi also pointed out that either the health care law ends up working, or the Democrats pay the political price in 2014.
