Ed Schultz: ‘I Was Absolutely Stunned,’ Obama Was ‘Off His Game’

MSNBC host Ed Schultz displayed disappointment in the debate performance of President Barack Obama facing off against Mitt Romney. Schultz said that Obama agreed with Romney too much and deferred to him on the issue of the privatization of Social Security which Schultz said that Obama could have made an issue but opted not to.

“I was disappointed in the president tonight,” said Schultz. “The president had an opportunity tonight – he created a problem for himself on Social Security tonight: he agrees with Mitt Romney.”

“Every liberal in this country knows that Mitt Romney wants to privatize Social Security down the road,” Schultz added. “To do a deal with the devil on that I think would be the wrong thing to do.”

Schultz went on to say that Obama failed to explain his position on the economy either. “I thought he was off his game,” Schultz said. “I was absolutely stunned tonight.”
