‘F*cking Slimebag!’ Pro-Palestine Protesters Cause Chaos During Antony Blinken’s Afghanistan Testimony

Pro-Palestine protesters interrupted Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s congressional testimony regarding the Biden administration’s Afghanistan withdrawal on Wednesday.

Blinken went to Capitol Hill to testify before the House Foreign Affairs Committee about the U.S.’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan back in 2021. As Blinken was beginning to give his remarks to lawmakers, protesters supporting Palestinians in Gaza interrupted the proceedings.

“Secretary Blinken! Secretary of genocide,” one female protester yelled before Capitol Police removed her from the room.

The committee’s chairman Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX) briefly paused the committee to state that disrupting “committee proceedings is against the law. Holding up signs or making verbal outbursts during the proceedings is disruptive and will not be tolerated. Any disruption will result in a suspension of the proceedings.”

Blinken continued his remarks by praising gold-star military families who lost loved ones in Afghanistan but was again interrupted by Gaza protesters.

“Secretary Blinken stop killing kids in Gaza! I have young kids,” screamed a protester as Blinken tried to resume his remarks to the committee. “You’re a father! I don’t know how you can sleep at night when you’re killing so many kids!”

Another protester added, “Blinken you scum! The blood of your victims…people will never let you forget! You’ve killed hundreds of thousands in your cozy little office! Fucking slimebag!
