Watch Lou Dobbs Get Awkward After Guest Says Parkland Students Are Acting ‘As If They Are Bulletproof’

A guest on Lou Dobbs’ Fox Business Network show made a very poor choice of words on Friday night, during a segment criticizing the survivors of the Parkland, Florida high school shooting.

Dobbs’ panel kicked off with guests railing against attempts to pass gun control legislation, including banning bump stocks. Talk show host Dom Giordano then said the Parkland students — protesting at the March For Our Lives on Saturday after their high school was the site of last month’s horrific mass shooting — are “out of control.”

“Isn’t that disgusting?” Dobbs snarled. “I mean, we’re tuning in to high school assemblies, to get the aggregated wisdom of 18 year olds.”

Gina Loudon, who according to Google is a media personality, argued that “none of this makes any sense at all.

“The very fact that we are giving such gravitas to people who just — they haven’t had enough life experience, yet, Lou, to be experts on much of anything yet.”

And that’s when Giordano proceeded to lodge his foot firmly in his mouth:

“I have to say too, Lou, as an educator, there’s a couple of these kids that are just rude in the way that they proceed here, as if they are bulletproof, so to speak. But the media is almost laundering their own opinion through these kids.”

“Let’s find another noun there, shall we,” Dobbs said with a chuckle.

Giordano added that while “a couple” of the Parkland students are “legitimate,” others “have gotten drunk with this media presence.”
