Fox & Friends Guest Calls Mitch McConnell a ‘Foie Gras Eating Insider Swamp Monster’

Dan Bongino, a former Secret Service agent who appeared on Fox & Friends Thursday morning, called Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell an “upper-crust, bow-tie wearing, foie gras eating insider swamp monster.”

Ainsley Earhardt first asked Bongino, an avid supporter of President Donald Trump, about former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper’s comments that the president may not be fit for office — a go-to source of outrage on the Friends this week.

Bongino first dismissed Clapper’s comments, noting he lied under oath before the Senate in 2013, before excusing Trump’s behavior by explaining: “He’s a Queens guy.”

“I’m a Queens guy,” Bongino continued. “We were never as rich as the Manhattan guys, never as tough as the Brooklyn and the Bronx guys. They always have this ‘I have to be better than them.’ That’s Trump. When you understand he’s a Queens guy, that all makes sense. Clapper doesn’t get him, he’s a fighter, he’s a Queens guy.”

“So he’s not mentally unhealthy, he’s just from Queens,” a relieved Brian Kilmeade said.

Fox News anchor Steve Doocy next asked Bongino if what is happening in Washington D.C. right now is a showdown between “a Queens guy” and “the guy from Kentucky with Mitch McConnell.”

“Yeah you’ve got the Queens guy,” Bongino replied. “And then you’ve got this upper-crust, bow-tie wearing, foie-gras eating, insider swamp monster in Mitch McConnell, and he doesn’t understand a builder from Queens.”
