Fox Legal Editor Insists Impeachment Investigation Isn’t a ‘Fox News Thing’: ‘Joe Biden Has Just Continued to Lie’

Fox News legal editor Kerri Urbahn insisted that the impeachment investigation into President Joe Biden was not merely a “Fox News thing” while hammering him for “lying” about what he knew about his son’s business activities on Wednesday.

In an appearance on America Reports, Urbahn was asked by John Roberts if Hunter Biden was “selling the family business,” if there was “anything wrong with that,” and if there was “anything to tie” any of it to the president.

Urbahn answered the first question by remarking that she didn’t know if “anyone has any doubt that Hunter Biden was selling his dad’s name because Hunter Biden didn’t have the experience or the connections on his own to have gotten the business deals that he did” and the second by noting that “just because something is dirty or doesn’t feel right doesn’t make it illegal and it certainly doesn’t necessarily rise to the level of high crimes and misdemeanors.”

Restating the third, she asked “Where are we going with this?” and admitted that there’s nothing to prove that Joe Biden took a payoff in exchange for his influence “yet.”

“I think the reason we’re still here, personally, is because Joe Biden has just continued to lie about what he knew or didn’t know about his son’s business dealings. And we know this because his own son contradicted him in court,” argued Urbahn.  “And there have been other things that have, you know, these are not, it’s not like a Fox News thing and stuff. Like, no, you can read the court filing and know that he lied. And, you know, the question is, well, why are you lying if there’s no problem? What are you trying to protect if there’s no there there? And you know, the other thing I thought of is last week we heard from Special Counsel Robert Hur. And something that came out in that testimony was that Joe Biden said in his interview with Hur, apparently, that Hunter Biden was his, quote, left arm. So are you really telling us, Mr. President-”

“That the right arm didn’t know what the left arm was doing?” offered Roberts.

“Right, that you’ve never asked your left arm ‘Hey son, how’s business going?’ It just doesn’t, you can’t believe this stuff and so here we are,” concluded Urbahn.
