Hosts of Axed HGTV Show Decry ‘Complete Lies’ About Religious, Gay Views

David and Jason Benham joined Eric Bolling on Friday night’s O’Reilly Factor to talk about the controversy that cost them an HGTV show. Neither of them hold any ill will against HGTV; they said the network was “bullied” into dropping the show. David said that a lot of the attacks against them online over comments he’s made have been “complete lies.”

He made clear that they distinguish between the gay community, which they love, and the gay agenda, which they’re not so fond of. However, despite all the attacks against them, David told Bolling, “We’re not victims, we’re not crying and fussing.”

Jason said that HGTV completely vetted them and were aware of some of their beliefs when they signed off on the pilot in the first place. Neither of them said anything bad about HGTV, saying that you can’t really criticize a kid who, in the face of a big mean bully, decides to back down.
