Mika Cuts Off Fiery Michael Wolff Interview Over Haley Remarks: ‘You’re Slurring a Woman, It’s Disgraceful’

Things got very heated between Mika Brzezinski and Michael Wolff on MSNBC Thursday morning, and ended in flames after the Morning Joe host cut-off the interview over Wolff’s insinuations about UN Ambassador Nikki Haley.

Wolff was on Morning Joe ostensibly to discuss the hot water he has found himself in for suggesting that Haley had an affair with President Donald Trump, and claiming this week that Haley actually “embraced” the rumors she called “disgusting.”

The Fire and Fury author said that he never explicitly accused Haley of having the affair, but “found it puzzling that she would deny something that she was not accused of.”

“You might be having a fun time playing a little game dancing around this, but you’re slurring a woman, it’s disgraceful,” Brzezinski told Wolff.

“Mika, again, she has been accused of nothing — she has decided to deny something she was not accused of,” Wolff replied. “Certainly I have not accused her of this.”

“Come on, are you kidding?” Brzezinski shot back. “You’re on the set of Morning Joe, we don’t BS here.”

And, in an ending so dramatic one can only assume it was devised by a Morning Joe producer with an eye for the theatrical, Brzezinski abruptly cut off a stammering Wolff and ended the segment.

“If you don’t get what we’re talking about, I’m sorry, this is awkward, you’re here on the set with us, but we’re done,” Brzezinski said. “Michael Wolff, thank you. We’re going to go to break now.”
