Nikki Haley Condemns Russia For U.K. Chemical Attack in Fiery U.N. Speech: Russia ‘Must Account For Its Actions’

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley continued her onslaught against the Russia by condemning the European power for the poisoning of two people in a chemical attack carried out in the U.K.

With Great Britain responding to the attack on a former Russian double agent by expelling 23 of the nation’s diplomats, Haley sided with America’s ally across the pound and scorched the country while speaking at the U.N. in New York City.

“The United States believes that Russia is responsible for two people in the United Kingdom using a military-grade nerve agent,” Haley said of the ex-Russian spy and his daughter who are extremely ill. “Russia must fully cooperate with the U.K.’s investigation and come clean about its own chemical weapons program.”

She continued:

“Time and time again, member-states say they oppose the use of chemical weapons under any circumstance. Now one member stands accused of using chemical weapons on the sovereign soil of another member. The credibility of this council will not survive if we fail to hold Russia accountable.”

Earlier this week, Haley warned the US may intervene if Russian-backed forced continue the use of chemical weapons on Syria while talking to the Security Council about the humanitarian crisis taking place amid the war-torn nation.
