Trump Brags About ‘Ivy League’ Education: ‘I’m A Very Intelligent Person’
During an impromptu gaggle with the press on the South Lawn of the White House Wednesday, President Donald Trump took a spattering of questions before dropping a gem of a response touting his elite education.
After MSNBC’s Hallie Jackson asked if Trump should be “more civil as a leader of this country,” he replied:
“Well I think the press makes me more uncivil than I am. You know people don’t understand. I went to an Ivy League college. I was a nice student, I did very well.”
“I’m a very intelligent person,” Trump continued. “I really believe — I think the press creates a different image of Donald Trump than the real person.”
