Tucker Carlson and Elon Musk Can’t Stop Giggling Over Since-Deleted Kamala Harris Assassination ‘Joke’

Elon Musk giggled with MAGA pundit Tucker Carlson as he doubled down on a since-deleted social media “joke” questioning why no one had attempted to assassinate Vice President Kamala Harris or President Joe Biden.

During an interview with Carlson on X on Monday night, Musk dismissed the backlash and added to his jibe.

The billionaire tech mogul laughed: “I’ve been trashing Kamala non-stop… The Kamala puppet… the machine that the Kamala puppet represents… I made a joke which I deleted that no one’s even bothering to try to kill Kamala because it’s pointless.”

The pair laughed.

“What do you achieve?” Musk asked. “Nothing. They’ll just put in another puppet.”

Carlson laughed again: “That’s deep and true, though.”

“No one has tried to kill Joe Biden,” Musk added. “It’s pointless.”

“Totally,” Carlson replied. “You actually put that up?”

Musk responded: “Some people interpreted it as I was calling for people to assassinate [Harris], but I was like… doesn’t it seem strange that no one has even bothered to try?”

“It’s not worth it,” Carlson quipped.

“No one tries to assassinate a puppet,” Musk repeated.

Musk’s initial post in mid-September came in response to news about an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, who he is an outspoken supporter of. When another X user asked why someone would target Trump, Musk replied, “And no one is even trying to assassinate Biden/Kamala,” accompanied by a pondering face emoji. As a result of widespread backlash at the time, Musk deleted the comment.
