WATCH: Window Washers Trapped Mid-Air as Rigging Swings Wildly Out Of Control
There was a terrifying situation in Oklahoma City on Wednesday as two window washers held on for dear life after their scaffold came loose on the side of Devon Tower.
Local reports say that the window washers were forced to hang on after their rigging became un-secure and high winds knocked them around the side of the building. Video from the scene shows that the scaffold swung into the windows at one point as it swung out of control.

WATCH: Two people are trapped at the top of the Devon Tower in a lift. Fire officials say the lift was swinging out of control. The two people have not yet been rescued, but the lift is now stable.

It isn’t clear if the window washers are injured, but firefighters have reportedly managed to stabilize the scaffold and are about to launch a rescue attempt.
