‘Did You Make This Yourself?’ Rishi Sunak Roasted For Pothole Meme

Social media users mocked Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s pothole meme Friday, which he used to announce £8.3 billion spending to “repair our roads.”

Sunak promoted the initiative via what appeared to be a screengrab from his word processor in which wording in the statement curved downward, supposedly representative of holes in road tarmac.

Twitter users, however, were not impressed:

The gaffe by Sunak is reminiscent of his clunky video transition attempt, slapping the camera, that turned him into a meme in October.

On that occasion he announced a £20 million government grant for enhancements in Blyth’s high street and investing in crime reduction.
