BBC Hairy Bikers Star Dave Myers Dies Aged 66

Star of BBC cooking show Hairy Bikers Dave Myers died Monday at 66.
Myers, who battled cancer since revealing his diagnosis in May 2022, alongside co-star Si King, turned the Hairy Bikers into a UK-wide household name with their travel adventures and culinary explorations.
Despite the challenges of chemotherapy, which at times left him too weak to walk or ride his motorcycle, Myers returned to the screen at the end of 2023 in the duo’s final series Hairy Bikers Go West, showcased their journey from Scotland to Devon.
King announced Myers death on Monday in a statement issued through the show’s official X account:
Heartbroken fans of the show reflected on the “devastating loss” and shared their tributes to Myers, calling him an “inspiration.”
