Actor Tracy Morgan in Intensive Care After Getting in Six-Car Crash (UPDATED)
Former SNL and 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan is in intensive care this morning after getting into a six-car accident on the New Jersey Turnpike.
Local authorities say the crash happened at around 1 A.M., and one person in one of the cars that crashed has died (UPDATE: That person has been identified as comic James McNair). Morgan immediately went to intensive care, and it is believed he is currently at a hospital in New Brunswick.
According to Sgt. Gregory Williams, the limo car Morgan was riding in was “the only vehicle that overturned.” Two tractor-trailers and an SUV were also involved in the crash.

Update- 5:21: Police are now saying the crash was caused by a truck driver who fell asleep behind the wheel and didn’t stop when traffic slowed. And CBS News reports that the truck driver, a Georgia man, has been charged.
