Screen Shot 2015-07-13 at 9.21.37 PMDonald Trump may get lots of people at his rallies, but political commentators on both sides are finding it hard to take him seriously. Case in point, conservative pundit Ben Stein said today while he can credit Trump for his self-confidence, he’s a “loose cannon” and “extremely dangerous” to the GOP.

In speaking with Newsmax’s Steve Malzberg, Stein even called Trump “this generation’s George Wallace, except without George Wallace’s charm.”

He doesn’t consider Trump “sophisticated enough” to lead the United States and said there’s absolutely no way Trump is the right person for the GOP.

Stein isn’t the only conservative pundit who’s spoken out critically against Trump, and if Trump’s pattern repeats, Stein might get an earful from Trump soon enough.
