Charlie Sheen’s First Live Show Bombs As Fans Walk Out Before It’s Over

Video

Charlie Sheen‘s first live performance in the “Violent Torpedo of Truth” tour took place last night in Detroit, Michigan and judging from the fans reaction to this show, the only thing torpedoed seems to be Sheen’s promise to deliver an entertaining show. Fans booed Sheen and walked out when it became apparent he hardly had anything planned, and one fan told a reporter “this show sucks.”

According to fans who attended the show, Sheen mostly relied on video clips and answering questions from the audience. The unorganized mess left some audience members claiming they wanted to puke, and that the whole ordeal was “boring . . . not winning.” One attendee said he would be surprised if it actually lasted until the end of its scheduled dates. Although given that the merchandise sales were good and most of the future shows are already sold out, it seems like no matter how miserable the live show might be, Sheen will still have the last laugh as he makes a ton of money from it.

It’s amazing what this world has come to when someone who just walked out halfway thru the Chalie Sheen, impromptu, ” One Man Train Wreck ” stage show, after admitting he shelling out $300.00 for tickets, stands there, with a straight face and proclaims, ‘ Sheen is not a winner ‘.

That line, in it’s original context, pretty much sums up all that is wrong in America. We have basically the same scenario played out every day concerning the current comedian ( train wreck ) now playing at the White House, only the losers who insist buying tickets, do so with other peoples money. In both cases we’re basically screwed……….but not for much longer, God willing.

How is Charlie getting ready for his world class world tour? Check out the fact-based “Day in the Life of Charlie Sheen” on The Loop Now. You’ll be glad you did.

I hope this doesn’t bring him any negative publicity.

Sheen did this all wrong because he is hanging out with a bunch of yes sir people..a bunch of Charlie you are so great people. Charlie needed to bring in Andrew Dice Clay to open and design how the show should go. The erratic and off the wall behavior fits with that with the women and sex side of things. He should have hired Tom Green to help him out with the writing as well.

Charlie brought in ridiculous amateurs and Live Nation bought into it.

    Charlie Sheen?…I thought he died.

I did. I expecting to read something new or interesting on your link and I didn’t. Same old same old schtick found everywhere these days.

As for the dolts that shelled out 300 bucks to see Charlie Sheen, a guy that knows nothing about doing a live show, theres no sympathy from here. As the old saying goes, “theres a sucker born every minute”.

  • namseer

There hasn’t been a train wreck this bad since the Republicans were in the White House.

What is wrong with America is ignorance and you have more than enough of that. You should be deported. In fact if you really love America you will leave and as a nation will instantly gain 80 IQ points.

Don’t you just love it when someone butchers a sentence while insulting someone for being ignorant?

Seriously- “and as a nation will instantly gain”? Exactly who needs to be deported here again? LOL.

Charlie Sheen’s show might not be funny, but at least we have Garth to laugh at.

  • beavoux

Idiots, what did they expect? he’s not a stand up comedian or a public speaker and has never done a live show before!

One constant theme from ultra-conservative far right-wing lunatics is the assertion that the American people are better able to spend their own money than the government is. What happened in Detroit proves otherwise.

  • felixw

I understand that Sheen was rambling, incoherent, foul-mouthed, insulting and vindictive, and his performance totally lacked substance.

Hey, someone call up Phil Griffin. We’ve finally found someone who can step into Keith Olbermann’s shoes.

  • potvin

If you’re dumb enough to spend money on this dope you get what you deserve. These morons should have saved their money for crack and whores. That’s what Charlie would have done.

Barn – you have more in common with Sheen than you realize. Which isn’t much. You keep track of those missing words nit wit, you seem to be good at it. LMAO!!

The audience was hoping that he would shoot himself. He’s like a Nascar race. They want to see the crash.

Yeah, the government did great things with Detroit’s money. You cannot be serious!!!

But you have to admit, when people make their own mistakes, they can’t blame anyone else (although they try) and it doesn’t cost you a dime!

actually that’s the best explaination I’ve heard yet for “Sheen Watchers.”

  • Harry Flashman

He just discovered that he’s not a performer. He’s an actor.

    Oops.

No Comment,I don’t know who Sheen is.

When a live show was announced I was wondering what it would consist of and why people would want to go. Sheen is an actor, not a comedian, a singer or a musician; what were people expecting? It’s like on telethons— sprinkled between the performers, who everyone wants to see, there are actors and actresses that “talk” and/or narrate video clips…they don’t do anything but answer phones.

I get that if someone does a show there should be something to see, but I can’t believe so many people have bought tickets or are surprised/disappointed. He was spouting craziness when this began, what did they expect other then a couple hours of that?

He’s every liberal’s favorite comedian, actor, and role model. ‘Til he got fired, he played the 1/2 man on the program “Two and 1/2 Men.”

What? Talk about an idiotic comment… this is how you spin this back to a dig at liberals? Next you’ll say “Fukishima… is every liberal’s favorite reactor.” I know plenty of liberals, and not a one of them is a Charlie Sheen fan. The ones who even have an opinion on the subject, and most of them don’t bother, think he’s everything from a flat out imbecile to a tragic character that we should all be ashamed for giving attention.

  • Big Eddie

A list of people who bought tickets to this would be a very valuable sucker list for other con artists .

Agree. A person would have to be a fool indeed to give Sheen the time of day.

    Hi Mr. Jackster,

You mean it isn’t? Aren’t the liberals using this incident to illustrate why the US must not build any nuclear power plants–just like they used the blown out well in the Gulf of Mexico to illustrate why we must never again drill for oil but rely on the middle east to provide it?

By the way, have you painted your roof white like Stephen Chu told all Americans they should do?
