Chelsea Manning Reportedly Tried to Kill Herself Yesterday
Here is a story that may go under the radar on a frantic day like today:
Chelsea Manning suspected of attempting suicide. Was taken to a hospital Tuesday from Fort Leavenworth, CNN.

It appears that while serving her 35-year sentence for leaking information to Wikileaks, Chelsea Manning has tried to kill herself. The 28-year-old has been being kept in a cell in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas and was given a position as a columnist for the Guardian last year.
The report of her alleged suicide comes from CNN and has no independent verification at this point, but she did get support from a source who might understand her better than most:
