Family Guy took on Chris Matthews last night, in cartoon form. The voice acting for Chris Matthews was provided by … Chris Matthews. Watch as he has a big forehead, talks over Harry Reid, is opinionated, and, uh, has a big forehead.

An open-ended question: does Matthews’ self-parody show that he’s a good sport, or just that he really likes to hear himself talk, even if he’s making fun of himself?

    I thought it was decent. I mean, even if you never fully think a joke is funny you have to appreciate it because the Family Guy always pulls off some form of quasi-abstract element in all of their jokes. I mean, I didn’t particularly understand the basis of the joke – that Matthews has a large head. Never thought about that. Ever. Saving grace was Kurtwood Smith.
