Fox Business’ Charles Gasparino Calls Trump a ‘Serial BS Artist’

Fox Business senior correspondent Charles Gasparino flat out called Donald Trump “a serial BS artist” on Thursday, even as he said that might not be terribly surprising to most people.
Gasparino took note of a New Yorker profile that focuses Mark Burnett, the TV producer who helped Trump become a household name with his work on The Apprentice. As writer Patrick Radden Keefe promoted the piece on Twitter, Gasparino offered some dry comments about the state of American politics while saying people have known for a long time that Trump overstates his success as a businessman
Wow i always thought “The Apprentice” was real and Trump was really worth $10 billion! Sorry guys most Amercians know Donald is a serial BS artist but they voted for him anyway and that says a lot about 1-his opponent 2-the broken political system https://t.co/nvWCOUtAzA

The Burnett profile presents the idea that Trump might have never become president if he wasn’t catapulted to fame as a reality star. The piece especially takes note of how Trump faced troubled times in his business empire before Burnett curried favor with him and transformed him into a television icon that looked like the embodiment of power and influence.
This is hardly the first time Gasparino has been blunt with his criticisms of Trump. The Fox Biz correspondent has criticized Trump’s economic policy and trade rhetoric on multiple occasions, plus he has voiced disapproval for how Trump has lashed out against several of his enemies.
