Is There A Suspect In Custody In Boston Marathon Bombing?

The short answer? As of 2:38 p.m. ET: No.

According to the Boston Police Department, “Despite reports to the contrary there has not been an arrest in the Marathon attack.” CNN had previously led the charge in reporting that there was an arrest made, but they subsequently walked back that claim after citing three separate sources indicating no suspect is currently in custody.
