Jimmy Kimmel Crew Uses Spotlight To Irritate Pro-Life Demonstrator

This isn’t the sort of story one comes across every day. Apparently a crew was set to tape a segment for Jimmy Kimmel Live! last week, while a pro-life group were demonstrating across the street. For reasons that remain unclear, the crew turned a hot spotlight on protester Ryan Bueler who reportedly withstood 15 minutes under the hot light. Conservative outlets have used terms like “weapons” and “assault” though some may see that as typical Internet hyperbole.

On June 25th, a pro-life group called Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust were peacefully protesting outside of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood when a crew from the Jimmy Kimmel Show arrived to do some filming. The pro-life youth activists weren’t in the film crew’s way — whatever they were shooting was across the street — but then for no reason other than to be ideologically sadistic, the crew turned a hot spotlight on Ryan Bueler, one of the young protesters. Bueler refused to be intimidated and for 15 minutes stood under a light hot enough to partially melt a bracelet he was wearing.

Just to make it clear, the film crew was across the street from the protesters so for this guy to go over and get in their FACE so to speak is just the manufactured incident that FREAKS just love to create, that’s why the leader of the protesters got arrested, THEY PROVOKED THIS.

Look at that photo and tell me he was not in the area of the film crews work space, seems the protesters got off lucky they should have been arrested and their permit revoked for harassing the film crew.

I don’t know about anyone else, but after watching the video and clicking through to the anti-abortion site, the next thing I did was take what they say is Kimmel’s home address (or some poor sap who is getting at-home protests by mistake) and punch it into Google Maps for the StreetView.

After landing where Google decided to put me, my first thought was that it looked like a fairly typical middle class, 70s-built neighborhood and I was impressed that he may not have gone all Hollywood, but then I “drove” down the street and ran into a couple of walled places with signed security. This caused me to zoom in on a few of the curb-painted house numbers and unless that street has dropped a digit, they could be protesting in front of the wrong house.

I just don’t have enough information to know.

Looks to me like the protesters moved across the street and put themselves right under the Kimmel crew lights. Then one of the “pro-lifers” tried moving the light.
The cops came and arrested the jacka$$, grandstanding yahoo that was interfering with the Kimmel crew trying to do their work.

It appears that those “innocent” protestors had been making a nuisance of themselves for the better part of the day, and actullay caused a disturbance at the taping of the show FROM THE FRONT ROW OF THE AUDIENCE.
It also seems that THEY followed the film crew and provoked a confrontation.

Anyone ever hear of a concept known as freedom of expression? The way I see it is the anti-murder by abortion folks were practicing theirs and Jimmy Kimmel (whomever the hell he is) was practicing his by intimidating the first party.
