Iraqi citizen death count is somewhere near 100k

That’s citizens, not soldiers, not enemies, that’s just normal citizens who were caught in the crossfire or had a bomb dropped on their house all because of a war carried on by. That number far exceeds the number of Americans soldiers killed in either war or 9/11 or any of Al Qaeda’s terrorist actions.

I realize that getting people to wrap their minds around the concept of Bush, Cheney, Wolfowitz and the whole motley crew being responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of mostly innocent people is a non-starter, but it is worthy of discussion. The Iraq war was a disgrace. Bush was talking about going to war with Iraq way before 9/11 and it even puzzled a lot people in his administration. Six months after 9/11 he even said he didn’t care about Osama.
