Michelle Fields Hits Back at ‘Trump Shill’ Greta Van Susteren for Legal Advice
Michelle Fields is reportedly considering a civil suit against Corey Lewandowski for defamation after reports came out he won’t be prosecuted for battery. Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren offered her some free legal advice tonight.
Van Susteren, who complained that the media was too focused on the GOP frontrunner’s campaign manager grabbing a reporter, and who scolded the conservative women who called on Lewandowski to be fired, recommended Fields just drop it.

Anyone encouraging Michelle Fields to bring a civil law suit is not doing her a favor. She does not want to take the stand in a civil case, subject to rigorous cross examination, that is likely to be on television to discuss a case that the DA won’t prosecute because he does not believe the evidence shows assault. Yes, the burden of proof is less in a civil case, but she is just not going to win and it will be expensive and a heartache.
Anyone encouraging this young woman to bring a lawsuit is irresponsible to her.
Van Susteren did not address the issue of whether Lewandowski defamed Fields. For context, here’s what Lewwandowski tweeted about Fields in the wake of the incident:
