Michelle Obama Hands A Crying Baby To President Obama. Baby Stops Crying.

Regardless of one’s political disposition, this is a pretty cool video clip, though the details of which are still somewhat unclear. What we do know, however, is that during a recent meet and greet with the people outside the White House, President Obama and wife Michelle encountered an upset and crying baby. When asked for a photo with the commander-in-chief, the First Lady proceeds to hand the crying child to the president, only to watch the baby nearly instantly stop crying. Fonzie!

Conspiracy theorists will likely call the baby a plant, and yes, we cannot confirm that the alleged crying baby isn’t a high-tech animatronic robot designed by the CIA for the White House to melt the hearts of a divided nation. Parents of crying babies will recognize that Obama’s comforting of the crying baby seems almost as genuine as the gloating look that he shoots his wife once he quells the baby storm:

    I just watched that clip. I agree. On a site devoted to media, covering that controversy seems like a no brainer.

    It is bizarre that they decided to omit those two words. Did no one anticipate a reaction to that? Foolish.

    I’m never going to vote for the guy but that there was funny. A classic interaction between parents. The one on the left, that did the real heavy lifting with their own kids, and the one on the right, that always thinks that they can do it better, regardless of how little they actually did.

    My husband could get a burp out of my kids, no matter how much I sweated and had that SAME LOOK on his face when he could pull it off in two seconds.

    Best clip that I’ve seen of those two.

    I think we all know it had to be on purpose, which is the strange part. Why piss off most Americans. The reaction, as you state, is obvious.

    Good thing they didn’t include the declaration of indepedence. then they’d have to remove “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

    The least NBC can do is to admit the screw up and apologize. Don’t blame Americans for being, well Americans.

    So again. Those who claim to be the side with integrity are so partisan that they are unable to present any form of decorum and take the high road. I almost always addressed him as President Bush which is the proper way to do so. Never have I said “He’s not my president” However, if you’d like you can take some of the phone calls I do at work and see how well your side handles our current president.     Bush tax cuts continued and Obama has actually introduced more credits and lower rates for lower income groups.
    President Obama has been leading the charge. During the shut down debacle he was meeting with leaders multiple times per week. President Obama was the one who gave the okay for the Bin Laden mission and made it a top priority. Look into things before spouting your bullshit.

    Recommend you read the Constitution. It talks a bit about the separate branches and their powers and responsibilities in there. It’s kind of a fundamental principle of the United States.

What do we have, a President with huge cajones who tells a stagnant Congress to stuff it while he orders Reagan’s arch-nemesis Quadaffi removed from power and Bush’s arch-nemesis bin Laden taken down, and then follows up by ordering strikes that continue to dismantle al Qaeda piece-by-piece?     What!!? where do you live -gas in Nancy Pelosi district is 4.48. Gas prices under Bush only reach 3.80, how quickly you forget or maybe you didn’t have your driver’s license yet – but Obama promised 8.00 gas and I truly believe this is a promise he will keep.

    This reminds me of a 1967 Sugar Bowl moment.

    Alabama vs Nebraska. It had been drizzling interspersed with rain all morning. In fact the only reason my husband and I still went was b/c our seats were a few rows under the upper level and my Dad volunteered to brave the traffic and dropped us off right at Tulane Stadium.

    At the moment Bear Bryant ran onto the field I swear to God the clouds parted and the sun shone down!

    Bama fans were already convinced Bear walked on water and I don’t think I’ve heard a bigger uproar in a stadium then at that moment when it seemed the sun was shining at his command and presence. Heck, I almost became a true believer.

    It is what it is. That seems simple enough to me.

    Right. George Soros, the multi-billionaire hedge fund manager who has a stated intent to bring about a new socio-economic order (the result of which has been argued would lead to greater wealth disparity and limit social mobility so to cement class allies and his progeny’s wealth and social position) isn’t ‘investing’ in media in order to be able to control content relevant to his economic maneuvering and political manipulations. He’s doing it because media is where the money’s at!

    And, I forgot to mention that the Senate Democrats have now put 3 jobs bills into the SEnate only to have the republicans load them down with 100 amendments so they wouldn’t pass. (see Barbara Boxers bill of June 21)

    So, tell us again what the Republicans have against creating JOBS?
