Protesters Clash With Donald Trump Supporters in South Bend

In video captured by The Young Turks, Donald Trump protesters swarmed his supporters before Trump’s speech in South Bend, Indiana Monday night.

At first the protesters and supporters traded insults from across the street as police look on. “F*** Donald Trump, motherf***as,” yells one protester as supporters proceed to the convention center.

But later protesters ran across the street to get in the supporters’ face, waving signs and chanting “F*** Donald Trump,” halting the procession. TYT’s Jordan Chariton reports that it took seven or eight police officers to push the protesters back to their side of the road.

“Why do you guys wanna get up in their face?” Chariton asked one protester.

“Just so they know that it’s real,” he replied. “They’re treating it like it’s a parade. They’re going down and they’re waving and shit. This isn’t one of those situations.”
