Tea Party Jesus Blog: Where “Christ” Talks Like Some Conservative Christians

The Internet has been home to many a crazy thing for several years now–so it should come as no surprise when we tell you about the new blog Tea Party Jesus. The blog simply takes things some conservative Christians have said…and puts them in the mouth of Jesus Christ.

The blog’s self-proclaimed description is just that straightforward: “The words of Christians in the mouth of Christ.” Clicking on each image will tell you who actually said the quote, which almost turns the whole thing into a trivia game of sorts. The people behind the words include Glenn Beck, Representative Louie Gohmert, John McCain and, of course, Bill O’Reilly. The blog gets its credibility by sourcing each image, assuring the reader that the quotes are real. Because really, you can’t make this stuff up.

Not surprisingly, the blog has a Twitter and a Facebook page, which 1,734 people had “liked” at the time of this post. The blog not only has a sense of humor, but clearly makes a point–albeit somewhat crudely.
