The New York Post and Fox Television Stations Are Teaming Up For a TV Version of Page Six
On Monday, July 18th, a new television show will be premiering on Fox television stations. It will be 30 minutes long but will surely stuff that half hour with plenty for you to talk about during the remaining 23.5 hours of the day. Wondering why the show will pack such a big punch? Well, it’s Page Six in television form!
There may have been other celebrity gossip outlets before Page Six, but the New York Post‘s famous star-gazing segment completely revolutionized the game and since its inception, it has been dictating the rules of celeb spotting, not merely playing by them. Now, the team behind the Page is doing it again.
Here’s what Post publisher Jesse Angelo has to say:
“Page Six” has been driving the conversation for decades, and in New York it’s everyone’s first read, whether in the paper or online. With “Page Six TV,” we’ll explore a new medium and grow our reach. It will be a true New York Post product – smart, funny, biting and entertaining, covering the people and topics that make this city, and the world, tick.
Next up, we have Senior VP of Programming for Fox Television Stations Frank Cicha:
We’re constantly looking for fresh, day and date strip programming. “Page Six” has always had its own point of view, and we expect that to translate very well to the TV show.
See? Everyone involved is excited. Just look how Page Six reporter Lindsey Kupfer feels:

Content group Endemol Shine North America is also joining in the partnership to bring this print staple to your television screens this summer.
Reports indicate that the format focuses on panelists and contributors who get scoops and provide their own unique insights to viewers while utilizing social media to engage the audience in the conversation. There is no word yet on who the featured talent will be, but you’ll know when we do!
