This 9/11 Instagram by Lindsay Lohan Has Nothing to Do with 9/11
Actress Lindsay Lohan decided, like others before her, to share her Sept. 11 remembrances on social media. Unfortunately, two major problems plagued her Instagram post:
- She posted it on Sept. 13, two days after the date she was trying to share memories of.
- It doesn’t actually have all that much to do with Sept. 11, 2001.
So what is the post about instead? I’m not entirely sure, because it transitions from a brief “I love you NYC” chorus to hashtags about Michael Jackson, God, Allah, PeTA, TMZ, Harvey Weinstein, Oprah Winfrey and just about every other topic Lohan could think of at the time of the posting.

You see, Lohan wasn’t even in New York City at the time. Instead, she was partying in London with friends, as evidenced by subsequent posts (and their geo tags) here, here and here.
