WikiLeaks Calls Out Trump for Not Releasing Tax Returns, Encourages People to Send Them ‘So We Can’
President Trump talked up WikiLeaks during the 2016 campaign and a lot of people have criticized them for being too pro-Trump. Well, this morning WikiLeaks called out the president over not releasing his tax returns.
Kellyanne Conway said on ABC’s This Week today that Trump will not be releasing his tax returns, despite him saying during the campaign he’ll release them once the audit is over. Both Trump and Conway have argued that the American people simply don’t care.
Well, WikiLeaks not only called Trump out for not releasing his returns”, but they actually encouraged people to send it to them “so we can”:
Trump Counselor Kellyanne Conway stated today that Trump will not release his tax returns. Send them to: https://t.co/cLRcuIiQXz so we can.

Trump's breach of promise over the release of his tax returns is even more gratuitous than Clinton concealing her Goldman Sachs transcripts.

WikiLeaks has encouraged leakers before, and last August Julian Assange told Bill Maher they’re “working on” . WikiLeaks subsequently said he was joking and they just want to work on “encouraging whistleblowers”:
WikiLeaks isn't 'working on' hacking Trump's tax-returns. Claim is a joke from a comedy show. We are 'working on' encouraging whistleblowers

And today isn’t the first time WikiLeaks has encouraged people to submit Trump’s tax returns if they have them:
