Andrew Breitbart paid a visit to Sean Hannity‘s show Monday evening to discuss what happened during the recent Netroots Nation convention in Minneapolis. You’ll recall that, last Friday afternoon, we showed you footage of Breitbart being harassed, questioned and eventually chased out of a public area of the Hilton hotel where the Liberal convention was being held.

Glenn Beck‘s final days at Fox News are quickly fading and one person who surprisingly wants to make one last splash on Beck’s show is none other than longtime Beck nemesis, Van Jones. Jones, speaking at the Netroots Nation conference, said “I’ve had all I can stand FOX TV and I can’t stand no more.” However Jones also admitted that he is open to an epic debate with Beck, that is of course, if Beck is willing to accept the challenge.

Andrew Breitbart has been rather busy lately. Last week, he effectively stole the spotlight from Andrew Weiner at the congressman’s own press conference and, now, he faced a confrontation after showing up at Netroots Nation’s sixth annual gathering in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The gathering describes itself as one that “amplifies progressive voices by providing an online and in-person campus for exchanging ideas and learning how to be more effective in using technology to influence the public debate.”

Sen. Al Franken has been quick to use time in the Senate to define himself as an outspoken advocate of independent programming and media. This past Saturday Franken used his closing spot at the Netroots Nation conference to advocate for Net Neutrality. MSNBC’s Ed Schultz Accuses Obama Of ‘Loyalty’ Issues For Not Going On His Show
MSNBC and talk radio host Ed Schultz delivered his address to the progressive congregation of bloggers at the Netroots Nation conference, and he had some strong words for the White House. Alluding to the Shirley Sherrod fiasco, Schultz quipped that the White House “must have a sissy room,” and that despite the fact that he “busted my ass for Obama,” the President visited Special Report with Bret Baier, “in my time slot.”

This year’s Netroots Nation, the annual gathering of of progressive bloggers launched in 2006, was different: The president from the party they fought to elect — President Barack Obama, a Democrat — is in power, and they no longer represent the voice of the opposition.
But that doesn’t mean they don’t have any.
