Glenn Beck has been warning about something he calls the “coming insurrection” for several years now, and finally he has seen its face appear concretely in the form of Occupy Wall Street. He visited The O’Reilly Factor last night to explain how Occupy Wall Street is a part of a larger “Marxist revolution that is global in nature” intended to “collapse the system.”

Given the many comparisons between the Occupy Wall Street protests and its satellites and the Tea Party movement, it was about time the leaders of one movement collided with the other. On Follow the Money tonight, Tea Party veteran Andrew Breitbart gave his testimony of his experience walking around the Occupy Los Angeles protests, where a union member followed his every move and avowed socialists told him of their conversions.

Wednesday, we brought you the story of 52 year-old entrepreneur Leland Robinson, a black Tea Party protester who was subjected to racist and racially-charged heckling at a pro-union demonstration in Denver, Colorado. RedWhiteBlueNews.com, the website that posted the video of the encounter, has now posted a longer version of the clip, which provides a fuller picture of what happened at the protest.

A series of videos making the rounds on conservative websites shows a black Tea Party protester engaging pro-union protesters at the Colorado Statehouse Tuesday, and at least one such exchange was unmistakably racist. Complicating matters, though, is the fact that the initial report the report failed to ascertain pertinent details, greatly undercutting the news value of the footage. We filled in some of the blanks, with a little help from the site that originally posted the videos.

Word started circulating that Services Employees International Union President Andy Stern was stepping down this week, but the union leader made it official today with this video message to SEIU members earlier today. In the message, he thanks all SEIU members (with some special personal mentions) and takes a look back on the growth of the union during his tenure.

Right-of-center websites are pushing an admittedly NSFW C-Span clip of SEIU Executive Vice President Gerry Hudson that is labeled “SEIU President calls ‘white workers’ racist,” which would be a pretty disturbing thing for a union executive to say about his own membership. Fortunately, we don’t even have to go out and find a longer clip to determine that he didn’t actually say that.

Don’t think the Tea Partiers are unaware of the recent criticisms cast at them regarding their potentially violent protest behavior– they’re just taking a “what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger” approach to the negative coverage. Today’s battlefield is the few feet of space between Missouri Congressman Russ Carnahan’s home lawn and the sidewalk before it, where Big Government‘s Jim Hoft defies Politico to prove the protesters put a coffin on private property.

Today, Glenn Beck went purple over SEIU (The Service Employees International Union) including inviting “the purple shirt people” to the show to make sense of the health care bill, because without the purple shirt the health care bill would not be 2,000 pages long (as opposed to the Constitution, which is only 17 pages long and runs the entire country). Beck’s analogy of the country vs. the health care bill? It’s a doozy.
