Anderson Cooper Takes Ed Schultz To The Woodshed For His GQ Conspiracy

Cooper-316x237 video

If there’s one thing Ed Schultz hates, it’s being treated as if he was inconsequential. The flagship MSNBC host naturally did not take very well to being labeled one of GQ‘s “Least Influential” people of 2011, a satirical end of year list, but instead of keeping his wrath focused on the magazine, he wondered aloud whether the competition was somehow involved. Needless to say, Anderson Cooper was somewhat surprised to find out that he was behind the entire ordeal, according to Schultz, and put the host in his place in his “Ridiculist” segment last night.

Johnson & Johnson Heiress Casey Johnson Dies Amidst Confusing Reports

Conflicting reports surround the apparent death of Casey Johnson, girlfriend to Tila Tequila and daughter of Woody Johnson, owner of the New York Jets. TMZ initially reported her death, but Ms. Tequila recently tweeted that she learned that Johnson was “not dead but currently in a coma!!!” Alas, a spokesmen for the Jets issued the following statement: “The Johnson family is mourning its tragic loss, and asks for privacy during this very difficult time.” (via NY Daily News.)

The New Courtroom: Tila Tequila Tweets Her Choking Case

It’s been nearly a week since San Diego Chargers star linebacker Shawne Merriman was arrested after reality TV…”star” Tila Tequila accused him of choking her. Since then Merriman and his attorneys have put out several statements denying any wrongdoing and planting the seed that Tequila was drunk at the time.

She hasn’t put out any official statements, but over the span of literally hundreds of tweets on the subject, I think it’s safe to say we know where Tila is coming from.
