Trump Mocked For Claiming George Conway is ‘Husband From Hell’: ‘Projection is a Cruel Mistress’
President Donald Trump renewed his attacks on George Conway Wednesday morning, firing off a Twitter broadside against the conservative lawyer and husband to top White House adviser Kellyanne Conway.
“George Conway, often referred to as Mr. Kellyanne Conway by those who know him, is VERY jealous of his wife’s success & angry that I, with her help, didn’t give him the job he so desperately wanted,” Trump wrote. “I barely know him but just take a look, a stone cold LOSER & husband from hell!”
The petty attack, which has Trump obsessing over a personal grievance instead of his duties as president, drew exhausted mockery on Twitter.
One particular line that stood out: The claim from Trump — who has been married three times and paid off a porn star to keep quiet about an affair that allegedly happened just after his wife gave birth to their son — that George Conway is a “husband from hell”:
