Anderson Cooper Admits CNN ‘Mistakes’ over ‘No-Go Zones’

Mediaite’s Joe Concha noticed today how CNN also engaged in talk of supposed “no-go zones” in Europe that is getting Fox News in a lot of trouble with the city of Paris. Several CNN programs, including AC360, discussed these “no-go zones” and none of the CNN anchors in question challenged these claims.

Well, tonight, Anderson Cooper, who had earlier this week done a report critical of Governor Bobby Jindal for making the same exaggerated claims, said that they should be willing to acknowledge their own mistakes on the matter. “If you’re gonna point fingers at other people’s mistakes,” Cooper said, “you should acknowledge your own mistakes, and we didn’t do that on the program.”

Cooper admitted he should have been “more skeptical” of the guests on his show who made those claims.
