Anderson Cooper Reveals How Lady Gaga Got Him Drunk On Jameson

Behind Anderson Cooper‘s steely, sophisticated exterior lies a lightweight who gets plastered after two drinks. That’s what the CNN star told The Insider, after first divulging that his latest drinking partner was none other than Lady Gaga.

Cooper recently interviewed the singer for a segment that’ll air on a future episode of 60 Minutes. But as he told Insider host Chris Jacobs, the interview may not be Cooper’s best work—because Gaga persuaded the silver fox to tipple on the job.

“We actually ended up that day in a pub in London drinking Jameson, which I don’t really drink. So, she got me to drink like two of them,” said Cooper, “and by the end I was ready to have the interview be over because I really sort of couldn’t ask any more questions.”

Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until February 11th to see the tipsy interview in all its glory. Think Gaga got Cooper to do karaoke with her, too?

I think Mr. Cooper is being a bit disingenuous here. He is spotted every weekend and has been for the past 4 months at least, at bars with Andy Cohen and some other of his celeb buddies drinking it up and getting his drunk on. To think two small Jameson’s got him that wasted when he is out at the bars drinking every weekend is ridiculous.

If you don’t believe me then check Twitter every Friday and Saturday nights and see how many tweets you get of people seeing him at the bars and talking about it. He was just at Milions, a huge night spot in Argentina, this past week getting his drunk on. Don’t let this man fool you. He is no stranger to drinking or being drunk. This is all for show and to get attention for this interview.

You are probably right. Cooper is a party animal supreme. I am sure he is either lying or he drank the whole bottle before the interview.

Come on, Anderson isn’t a teenager, he is a 43-year old middle-aged trust fund baby, does he expect anyone to believe that he hasn’t been drunk before? This isn’t the first time and it won’t be the last:

I guess the question is, did Gaga take “advantage” of him even though he is old enough to be her father.

Gaga is just another gimmicky entertainer. in a couple years her audience will move on to another gimmicky celeb and no one will even remember her name.

I have to give Busis a little credit on this one, she did say that Gaga was “his latest drinking partner “.

I should have also added to my comment that after the interview was over Anderson tweeted about it and even sent out a tweetpic. So if he was too drunk to interview someone then how was he tweeting? In the tweet he even says he just finished the interview. He wasn’t drunk at all nor did he look drunk in the pic he sent out. Like I said, this is all hype to get people interested in this interview.

Everything AC does these days is hype, like being “mysterious” about his “personal” life. Except of course when he needs to bring attention to himself as he did in the Yoko Ono interview.

I find it interesting that AC got more coverage for this stupid Gaga interview than he is getting for his important “60 Minutes” story on the Afghan police! It says a lot about his audience, but even more about the blogs that cover the media.
