Dramatic Surveillance Video Shows Sheer Mayhem as Elliot Rodger Opens Fire
Surveillance video from a convenience store hit in yesterday’s Santa Barbara shooting shows the moment shooter Elliot Rodger opened fire, capturing the mayhem and tragedy of the scene as it began to unfold.
In the video bullets can actually be seen flying through the front windows and shattering a glass display case. Other customers are seen to crouch on the ground, before finally and frantically grabbing their phones to call authorities.

In a separate angle that has not been released, a twenty-year-old victim can be seen getting shot and killed upon walking into the convenience store.
At least seven people died in the shooting spree, including Rogers himself. Before he went on the rampage, he recorded and uploaded to YouTube a video manifesto titled “Elliot Rodger’s Retribution,” in addition to a 141-page manifesto laying out his grievances in painstaking detail.
Watch the footage below, via CNN. Warning: the video is very graphic.
