Fox’s The Five Hosts Agree That Mitt Romney’s Campaign Is ‘Flailing’

You’ve gotta hand it to The Five. They are not holding back on their feelings about some of the GOP contenders’ chances. Yesterday they all seemed to agree that it was time for Ron Paul to hang it up, and today they did a segment on “Romney vs. Perry” and, well, let’s just say that it wasn’t a good few minutes to be the former.

The main question of the segment was whether or not it was time for Romney to start taking Perry seriously and go on the offensive. Everyone agreed with that except for Eric Bolling. Not because Perry isn’t a serious competitor, but because Romney has so many “skeletons in his closet” that it’d be a bad idea to pick fights. Ouch.

Greg Gutfeld perhaps had the most damning analogy as he compared Romney to a guy who lost his car in a parking garage, wandering around wondering “Where’s my campaign?” Double ouch.

Side note: Can we take some kind of poll of how I should refer to the hosts of this show? Should I call them just The Five or The Five‘s hosts. I mean, they are the titular “five” but whenever I write refer to them like that with it capitalized, it feels like I’m writing about a secret cult or the original Cylons or something.
