Michael Avenatti Makes Bold Prediction: ‘I Do Not Think the President Will Serve Out His Term’

This week, there have been reports that allies of the president have expressed concern that Trump attorney Michael Cohen could flip on the president in order to avoid prison time if charged in a criminal investigation. In response to that, Stormy Daniels lawyer Michael Avenatti sent out the following tweet this morning.

Avenatti showed up on MSNBC’s Deadline: White House this afternoon discussed that tweet while adding that it was not that long ago when he predicted Cohen was going to find himself in hot water. This then led to another prediction about the president himself.

“I think three weeks ago I said that ultimately [Cohen] was going to be indicted and he was going to flip on the president,” Avenatti declared. “I was the first one to call it. And now, you know, people that are close to the president are telling him the same thing.”

He continued, “I mean, this is a very, very serious matter for the president at this point. There’s no question that Michael Cohen knows where many, many bodies are buried. They are going to turn him. And when they turn him, the president is going to be in a very, very bad place. And I’m going to make a prediction now. I do not think the president will serve out his term. I just don’t.”

Later on, host Nicolle Wallace pressed him on his belief that the president won’t make it to the end of his term, asking Avenatti if that was based on any knowledge of what Cohen has done or on the caliber of nondisclosure agreements Cohen has crafted.

“Well, it’s certainly based on both. This is a serious, serious issue for the president,” He knows it. Michael Cohen knows it. And the people that are close to him know it.
