Today on CNN’s Reliable Sources, Howard Kurtz, Katrina Vanden Heuvel, Ramesh Ponnuru and Alex Wagner discussed Sarah Palin’s recent openness in talking to reporters beyond Fox News. They discussed the interviews she has recently given to TIME, the New York Times Magazine, Good Morning America, and Barbara Walters.

Palin has previously been critical of what she calls the “lamestream” media, and refused interviews with media other than Fox — so her recent openness in talking to media is an interesting change for her, which the panelists discussed. Is Palin finally warming up to the media? And is it part of a plan to lay the foundation for a 2012 presidential run?

She must’ve realized that in a general election in a country w/300,000,000+ people, you need to expand beyond the boundaries of the 3,000,000 that watch Fox.

Sounds like a rhetorical question. She’s making money from the Lamestraem, her daughter is dancong on them, she can’t stop talking about them and you are asking if she’s warming up to them. Nah she wants to be part of it, she is just not happy when they make fun of her, other than that she wants to be one.

NO, in their coming to realize that –0bama was not what they claimed him to be, the lamestream media is warming up to Palin as they’ve decided to ease up on their hatchet work and hate speech. I hope she does not fall victim to their wiley ways.
