Sarah Silverman Says She Didn’t Get High Until After the Emmys

When TMZ cornered Sarah Silverman after last night’s Emmy Awards, they of course asked her about the moment on the red carpet when she proudly showed off her marijuana vapor pen to E! and the world. But despite what most people assumed, especially after she accepted the award for writing her recent stand-up special, the comedian insisted she did not get high before the show.

“It’s not true,” Silverman said of the rumors, while her Masters of Sex co-star Michael Sheen waited impatiently in the background. “I had a pot vapor pen thing, for later. I don’t drink, and I like to have a little puff-a-roony end of night when all is said and done, because I’m a grown woman.”

Hard to argue with that.
