St. Louis Rams Players Enter Game with ‘Hands Up, Don’t Shoot’ Pose
Several members of the St. Louis Rams’ offensive line came onto the field for Sunday’s game with a “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” pose, a reference to slain teenager Michael Brown and the resulting tumult in nearby Ferguson.
Professional sports games in the area have been the sites of tertiary protests and occasional violence since St. Louis was racked by the shooting in August, and the Rams have already seen tension over the issue.
The Rams proceeded to set a franchise record for most points scored in the first half.
