Stephen Colbert Addresses Jezebel’s Sexism Allegations (By Covering Sandwiches Instead)

Earlier this week, The Daily Show responded to Jezebel’s allegations of sexism by having all of their female employees write an open letter. Last night on the Colbert Report, Stephen Colbert also felt the need to defend his old stomping grounds and he showed just how seriously he takes Jezebel’s accusations by devoting an entire segment to- OH MY GOD, LOOK! CANDWICHES!

Yeah, if the staff of the Colbert Report would rather talk about sandwiches in a can than your earth-shattering report, chances are it’s not really weighing too heavy on their heads.
