TLC’s Clinton Kelly Hates Being On Same Channel As Sarah Palin

video

The host of TLC’s What Not to Wear does not plan any “synergy” with fellow TLC star Sarah Palin. Clinton Kelly was on HLN’s Joy Behar Show on New Year’s Eve, and the host made things pretty clear: he does not like being on the same network as the former Alaska governor. He thinks she’s a hypocrite who’s TLC show, Sarah Palin’s Alaska is nothing but an “eight hour infomercial.”

So that pretty much kills any chance of a crossover episode where Kelly dissects Palin’s wardrobe at her home in Wasilla:

I wasn’t thrilled when I heard that Sarah Palin had an eight-hour infomercial, you know, on my network because she basically stands for everything I don’t stand for or I’m against,” he said of Sarah Palin’s Alaska. “So it’s a little bit rough. It’s a little — what bothers me the most about her is her hypocrisy.

And Joy Behar, whose New Year’s Eve show also included the panel deciding on 2010′s most annoying person–with Sarah Palin as one of the three candidates–did not in any way refudiate Kelly’s Palin-bashing:

I know. As if anybody in New York City can relate to this.

… and, the Drop Out Governor could benefit from watching Kelly’s show. We would all benefit if the Drop Out Governor watched his show.

I’m not sure Kelly could help Brisket, but this might help her:

If I was him, I would not like it either…the ratings on “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” are so high and the ratings on his show so low…it must be very embarrassing to him!

Mmm-hmm, because nothing outside of New York City matters, right? The arrogance is just astounding.

  • TangledThorns

Clinton is against what Sarah Palin stands for? I didn’t know he hated America so much. He’s also jealous that she has the highest ratings on the network so boo-hoo on Clinton :(

  • Probably NOT wrong

Who in the hell is Clinton Kelly????
I am serious. Today is the first time I have ever seen his name.
I have a feeling I am not alone.!!

  • Scott_in_MI

Maybe this guy could go up there and giving a kodiak a makeover.

  • skyfet

“If” requires the conditional “were”, and “I” the nominative or subjective. In other words: “If I were he ….”

Otherwise, your post makes no sense.

He’s better known to those who wear natural fabrics. Polyester isn’t his “thing”.

  • CAconservative

When S.Palin, as beautiful and feminine as she is, appears far more masculine than those on the “Behar freak-show”, their credibility sinks to zero!! Who gives a rats-ass what Behar and her carnival-sideshow guests think?!

  • LibertySister

The left is amazing jealous of this woman but they cant stop talking or thinking about her.
why does she matter so much to you liberals?
She is mostly successful because of the media and sites like this cant stop harassing her and that makes people like me, like her more.

I’d rather just get a dinette set.

Answer and win a praise: What was the most important event during the morning hours (US-CST) of 12 July 1843?

  • Seeing 2012 From My Window

Hey Royal Spelling and Grammar Czar, would I win a praise or perhaps a PRIZE? See, if you are going to call people out, you’d better be right 100% of the time.

Perhaps, Michelle in Utah, the answer to the question might suggest to you that “praise” was my intention.

If you’d like a bit of adoration, tell us why 15 March 1856 is important.

    Bingo.

    Praise to you, CJD Ohio!

  • Seeing 2012 From My Window

I expected that to be your answer, but then you should have said praise and not A praise. Perhaps you’ll think twice about your role as Royal Spelling and Grammar Czar in the future. I notice you are doing it on other threads as well. There is something sad about a person, such as yourself, who has to constently try to make people believe he’s smarter than absolutely everyone all the time.

  • OxyCon

I think Clinton should enlist now that he no longer has to hide his sexuality. And if he doesn’t, then he’s a huge hypocrite.

Ah see, I don’t proclaim to be a SELF appointed Spelling and Grammar Czar like you, so it’s ok.

  • Knowledge_Is_Power

What the hell is Kelly fussing about!? At least TLC is willing to keep his low rated lame show on air. They have even moved it to a new night trying to get more viewers. Guess when you’re looking up at a huge star like Palin from a low rated show like his jealousy gets the bets of anyone.

  • Knowledge_Is_Power

OOPS…jealousy gets the BEST of anyone.

  • tiredofbs

There go my E-mail lists all lit up again.
Another elitist moron, acti ng stupid, asking for a boycott of yet another
    Republican insulting idiot show.
I don’t recall their viewers asking for their Politics before viewing.
    Lefties will never learn.
T V (all Media & Hollywood) is suffering in (viewers)lack of Conservative viewers,
even dancing w/the stars added a Palin for ratings…
Keep insulting The Right..I guess they don’t need half the country.

  • TfT

It is rather embarrassing for this idiot to complain – Palin gets best ratings ever for TLC and this guy does what now?

I will skip his show from now on.

  • writer

    Brisket kidnapped the Lindbergh baby.

  • Biscuit

It’s whose show, not “who’s”. No wonder people don’t take Americans seriously.

  • Biscuit

Remember when The Learning Channel was supposed to mean something? Who wants to watch brain-dead Palin and her lot of ill-bred, racist, low-minded trailer trash children?

  • gargoyle

Seriously, who gives a shit about Palin’s show, high ratings or not?

  • JJHunsecker

Mark, please learn thie difference between “who’s” (contraction) and “whose” (possessive), because not knowing the difference makes you look like you can’t write (or read).

“Who’s” is a contraction of “who is” or, less commonly, “who has,” as in “Who’s watching TV?”

“Whose” is the possessive of who, as in “Whose book is this?”

The trouble here is because of the apostrophe, which — usually, in English — indicates possession. However in this instance, it indicates a contraction. If you can replace the word with who is or who has, use who’s. If not, use whose.

    Thanks for your attention.

  • Bronco46

Someone needs to say to clinton “There’s the door!” Come on clinton you’ve got a cute LITTLE show there, be grateful; your just going to have to deal with the fact that her show is much bigger then yours. There are few people who care what you think; but most do not. Opinions are like—well you know.
