Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Tossed in Solitary Confinement After Brawl With Fellow Inmate: Report

Sean “Diddy” Combs is in solitary confinement after a “violent” brawl with another inmate, sources told TMZ.

Combs allegedly got angry after another inmate at FCI Fort Dix — where the disgraced star is serving his sentence on prostitution charges — “dissed” him, according to TMZ, who cited multiple sources about what the outlet described as a “violent prison fight.”

The rapper then “decided to take matters into his own hands,” the outlet added.

TMZ’s sources said the two men “got into a scuffle and started pushing each other and throwing jabs.”

Combs “held his own” during the fight, the sources noting, and prison staff “quickly squashed” the incident and separated the two inmates.

Combs was then “immediately tossed into the hole at Fort Dix,” TMZ reported.

It is not known if he is still in solitary confinement or what potential consequences he may face, but an extended sentence is within the realm of possibility for engaging in a prison fight.

A spokesperson for FCI Fort Dix declined to comment on the alleged fight, telling TMZ, “We are not at liberty to disclose or provide internal information pertaining to any inmate in our custody. Such information would not be available for the public domain.”

The Federal Bureau of Prisons also declined to comment, saying it does not disclose information on “disciplinary matters, or other information regarding individual inmates due to privacy, safety, and security concerns.” Representatives for Combs likewise did not reply.

Just over a year ago, a federal jury in New York found Combs guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, but acquitted the rap mogul on the most serious charges, one count of racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking.

During the stunning trial, prosecutors argued Combs masterminded a decades-long criminal enterprise that abused, threatened, and coerced his victims, including ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, whom he was seen violently assaulting in a now-infamous hotel surveillance video from March 2016, and another ex-girlfriend, pseudonymously referred to as “Jane” during the trial.

In October, Judge Arun Subramanian with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York sentenced Combs to four years and two months in prison, plus five years of post-release supervision and a $500,000 fine.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons set Combs’ release date for May 8, 2028; that was later moved up to Feb. 23, 2028, presumably because he had participated in a drug rehab program that grants time off for good behavior.

Combs has appealed his conviction, and has reportedly reached out to President Donald Trump to seek a pardon.
