‘Slit Her F*****g Throat!’ Teacher Charged For Hurling Shocking Abuse at 7th Grader Who Reportedly Objected to Israeli Flag in Classroom

A Georgia middle school teacher has been charged for allegedly threatening to kill a student after she criticized his Israeli flag, according to a new report.

Benjamin Reese, a 7th-grade social studies teacher at Warner Robins Middle School, was arrested last week for allegedly shouting threats and obscenities near students, including, “You motherf*cking piece of sh*t! I’ll kick your ass. I should cut your motherf*cking head off.”

According to WMAZ-TV, Reese had become infuriated when a student said she found the Israeli flag in his classroom offensive “due to Israelis killing Palestinians.” He then followed the student into the hallway where he allegedly said, “You don’t make an anti-Semitic comment like that to a Jew.”

Reese returned to his classroom following the encounter, but continued making threats, according to witnesses. “I will drag her a– into the parking lot, slit her f—-ng throat and kill her,” he allegedly said at the time.

After interviewing other teachers and students, an on-campus deputy went to speak with Reese. He denied speaking to or threatening anyone when asked by the school’s principal and the deputy.

After being led back to his classroom, Reese reportedly aggressively kicked a doorstopper and invoked his civil rights, refusing to answer further questions from the deputy. He was arrested based on witness allegations that were later corroborated by video evidence — although the tape did not have audio.

“Witnesses included other students and teachers with their classroom doors open. Some witnesses say the students were shocked to hear those words from Reese,” according to local reports.

Reese’s bond was set at $2,500 for the terrorism charge with an additional $5,000 for cruelty to children charge.

Houston County Schools issued the following statement to a local news outlet following the incident:

All employees of the Houston County School District are required to follow the Code of Ethics for Educators. If there is a violation or accusation of a violation, we investigate and respond appropriately. While we are not able to discuss specific personnel matters, we can share that Mr. Reese has not been on the campus of Warner Robins Middle School since Dec. 7, 2023. Safety and the well-being of our students and staff is our number one priority.
