Bryan Cranston Would ‘Definitely Move’ to Canada if Trump Wins

bryan-cranston-e1477943325754We all know someone who talks about moving to Canada if the election doesn’t go how they hope. Bryan Cranston says the same thing- but he says he actually plans to leave the country if Donald Trump wins next Tuesday.

The Breaking Bad actor was interviewed on “The Bestseller Experiment” podcast this week and of course the election came up.

While he’s not a fan of Trump as president, or, it seems, as a person, he does find him fascinating as a character. “He’s such a tragic Shakespearean character,” he said in the interview. “He’s comedic as well, because of the tragedy of this man’s soul. The delusion that he has, the supreme narcissism. Beautiful character, amazing character. In the States, there will be classes taught on this election period. There will be books written, movies made. There will be theatrical productions about Donald Trump because of the anomaly he presented.”

He says he would need “some time to calm down,” but that after that happens, he would be open to playing him in one of these productions- if he can drop his judgments.

When asked if he would take an extended vacation to Vancouver if Trump wins, Cranston said “It wouldn’t be a vacation, I’d be an expatriate. Absolutely. I would definitely move. It’s not real to me that that would happen. I hope to God it won’t.”
