Chris Wallace Asks Anti-Trump Comic George Lopez ‘What Do You Think of Donald Trump’ Now — Gets Blistering Answer

Comic and actor George Lopez eviscerated former President Donald Trump when CNN anchor Chris Wallace asked him “What do you think of Donald Trump” now?

Wallace interviewed Lopez for this week’s edition of his Max series Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace on a variety of topics, including politics.

After playing some of the vocally anti-Trump comic’s act from 2020, Wallace asked “As we sit here today in 2024, what do you think of Donald Trump?”

Lopez was not shy in his response:

WALLACE: Over the years, you have become much more political in your humor. (I did not want to.)
Well, I want to play a clip from Netflix special in 2020. Here you are.

WALLACE: You say that after Donald Trump went after migrants coming into this country without
documentation that you felt you couldn’t stay silent.

LOPEZ: Well, I didn’t support, I don’t support undocumented people coming across the border. You
know, I just, I just cannot allow somebody to demonize a certain group of people, you know, they,
people come from all over the world. This is America, you know, everybody needs to be welcomed. And
for somebody to, you know, point the light at people that, you know, I’m sure it this country benefits
from their work every day. I just don’t I just don’t think that that those people should be made to feel
like they’re the reason America is the way that it is.

WALLACE: Well as we sit here today in 2024, what do you think of Donald Trump?

LOPEZ: Um, I, you know, I have to say, I’m surprised that somebody can be so racially out with their
views targeted toward people, you know, tainting the blood and all these things are very reminiscent of,
you know, Nazi Germany kind of, you know, (poisoning the blood) poisoning the blood, I mean, (vermin),
vermin, shithole countries, and all those things. I don’t think of him much as, as a, as a president, and I
think less of him as a man.
